President's Letter

To The Student of Commerce,

You are reading this because you are looking for new endeavors to challenge yourself with.  Many students at our university discover that being employed or attending classes does not provide enough opportunities for growth. I often get asked the question, "What else does the university have to offer?”  The International Co-ed Business Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi may be the answer for you.

I started out in vocational studies with the original intention of investing my time into financial wealth. As I took more classes, I began questioning my own career path. "Is there more than just school and work?" "How can I integrate my personal experiences with academics and work?"

Through a leap of faith, I decided to join Delta Sigma Pi in hopes of developing myself personally and professionally. What I have gotten out of it was much more than I anticipated: The organization allowed me to work on my public speaking skills, network effectively with the Sacramento business community, and work with 60+ highly competent individuals in our growing organization. For the first time in my life, I was encouraged to take risks, learn from my failures, and come back being more passionate in every way imaginable.

What you have is a playground that allows for personal transformation. I challenge you to apply your hard earned academic knowledge here in our organization. I welcome you to make a difference in our professional team. Most importantly, I welcome you to pursue a risk-free endeavor.

Welcome to Delta Sigma Pi, Epsilon Phi Chapter.

Fraternally yours,

Michael Liu
